8:10am - Delivery Driver Knocks with Boxes and Brochures
9:00am - Leisurely sorting out Customer Orders with coffee and daughter helping with her Easter Eggs and Kids TV...
9:15am - A little confusion when noticed that some products were not in the order, but phoned AVON and explained that they don't appear on the invoice so it could be my fault but I was sure I remembered adding them, so I thought it was their fault - they said sorry and took the product details and will be posting them out within 5 - 7 days (so the issue was resolved very quickly)
10:15am - made sure all the orders had a new brochure, the sale brochure, an order form and some had a sample in them - corrected the totals of the ones that had stuff missing, so I would only be charging the customer for what they were about to receive (Oh gosh that sounds like the Lords Prayer!)
Had a bit of a break - until after lunch
2:00pm - Put the orders in the boot of the car by street (as there were a few different areas) - and walked off up my street with those ones (armed with a bag of change, a list of orders and what was due, a few pink cards in case they weren't home AND of course our brilliant Essex-Reps Loyalty Cards (See Day 79)
2:10pm - Having collected from half of the local customers and put cards through to the others saying we would be back tomorrow and how much they owed - my daughter and I got in the car heading off to our first area
2:20 - 3:40 - We popped round to quite a few streets delivering and leaving cards, a few customers called to say they were just home, so we went back to them, we had a nice chat with each one where possible (as I like to have a chat, get to know my customers, and most of them seem to want to as well)
3:45pm - Came home, checked my list to make sure I had visited everyone or texted them or left a card etc etc, put the majority of the money in a safe place, leaving myself plenty of change for tomorrow, put the AVON boxes in the recycling and got the dinner on!
